I've been focusing on other things this year mainly my running.
Tomorrow I'll start going through the hundreds of deviations and journals etc.

Left work. Stayed in hostel. Friday night was fantastic. Pub was the Rose at Erko. Food was good. Furs were better. Bit hot. Angry Barman. Chatting and catching up. Had a few. Then a few more. Flay clearing tables, should have been paid. Aimz had quite a few (Do the robot!). Unbeaten at pool. Tasty cocktails (apparently). Didn't sleep

Saturday
Stayed in bed instead of a run, bad boy. Yuppie breakfast noms. Walked from Bondi. Met at Centennial park. Teh Husky an' Co were missing. RobW an' Co head off to find them. Teh Husky shows up. So does everyone else eventually. BBQ foods which were very good. Lots of chatting. DDD and others with soccerball. DDD and others without soccerball. Tree with soccerball. Moski with waterbottle vs tree with soccerball. Tree with waterbottle and soccerball. Artjam, Weasley vs Ara in epic art battle. Furry Chef battle. Fursuits, mysterious fox in orange shirt. Hot day but good shade. Bus. Hostel. Japanese restaurant. Best Japanese food in years. Walk. Koneko carrying many bags of snacks and a chocolate cake. George street movies. Wall-e. Best Pixar film since Incredibles. I WANT ONE. Walk. Bed. Sleep

Sunday
Check out of hostel and take stuff back to car. Darling Harbour. Lazer skirmish. Ray makes an appearance. Free for all. I still suck. Teams. Cats vs Dogs n Foxes vs Other vs random little kids. I'm on Other. Other's camping strategy foiled by Aussie's Jack-in-the-box attack. Repeatedly XP. Circular Quay. Koneko still carrying cake. Cake is blamed for morning no show. Cake has evil powers. Furs on a Ferry, where's Samuel L Jackson. Manly. Good fish n chips. Aldi fire but no-one evacuating. Manly Ocean world. Many fish. Cats like fish. Extreme Shark Diving......TO THE MAX!!!!! Touch pool. Proposed do not touch pool. Cake is FINALLY put to death via Robbie and Moreth. Ferry drawings. New dinner plans, Watsons Bay trip canned. White bread guilt. Femoral arteries and instant death. Drive home with Flay, Ray n 'neko. Close call with cop car. Get lost in Parramatta. Get reeeaaaaally lost towards Windsor. Instant U-turn freaks little kitty . Home late. Bed. No sleep again, too wired. Epic weekend

In exactly two years time, I am going to run the Sydney Marathon.

I scored a day off!!! Yay. Take that Bitterman!


Sunday was the 2008 City2Surf so I'm feeling a bit stiff and sore right now but god it's good fun. This year there was 70,000 people which made it a record. I managed to drag one of my (much much fitter) mates along this year too. To get into the city on time it meant an early start and waiting on the station when it's 2 degrees (no joke) in shorts, kinda get you motivated to get moving asap. This year I took some photos of crowd at the start line but I cant get them off the phone Anyways the race went really well, we went hard the first 4km's, eased it back in the middle and then caned the last 4km's. RT and I had a gentleman's agreement that we'd stick together until the 13km mark but in the last kilometre, it was on. LOL I tried, but he just disappeared off into the distance.

Last year I did it in 147mins.
This year I wanted to beat 120mins.
Unofficial time this year...111mins. Booyah 36mins quicker!! I'm pretty stoked about that. No injuries either.
Next year the goal is 90mins.

One night recently, I woke up in the middle of the night, and couldn't get back to sleep. A great idea crept into my head, and it wouldn't immediately leave. The more I thought about it, the better it sounded. Namely that it was about time that I had a FAP. I've been in the fandom for 6 years now and have never had a FAP, so I grabbed all the required materials, and 20 minutes later I was quite satisfied with myself. It was a good session, and afterward I slept quite soundly.

So peeps I give you.....

ENIGMA'S EPIC FAN ARTZ PROJECT

Like I said, I've been in the fandom for 6ish years and have met an absolutely great group of peoples. There's also another group of people who I haven't met, but have influenced me through their art, comments, general existence etc. There's people who need to be thanked for the enjoyment they've added to my life for organising events, having a chat, making me laugh, making me cringe , everything. Furs who sacrifice a small portion of their enjoyment to the benefit of the community. I get annoyed because I can't put my thoughts into words here, I've been trying to say this for awhile. The furs who organise meets, run forums, host websites, draw artz, transport peeps, help out at events, or generally put something back instead of just constantly taking, earn major respect from me. So I've made a list and am drawing fan arts to show my appreciation to these people who, in varying ways, have made the fandom a better place.

Currently there are 52 names on the list, which will be done in randomerical order, with the peeps I've promised stuff for, up first ^^
